IT Security Analyst

Required Skills:

• BS in Computer science or equivalent related work experience;
• 3+ years of experience in network, server or application security;
• 1-2 years of experience with SIEM-
  LogRhythm (preferred), Vulnerability scanner- Nmap/ Nessus etc. and
  Antivirus solutions- Trend Micro OfficeScan;
• PowerShell/ Batch Scripting.
• Phishing (Must)
• Internet Proxy- Mcfee / web gateway / Bluecoat
• Good knowledge if IDS is must
• InfoSec related certification a plus.
• Demonstrated experience with Information Security /Risk Management activities required.
• Knowledge and experience with common
  information security management frameworks, such as International
  Standards Organization (ISO) 17799/27001.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills.
• Self-directed, self-starter, and motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

India is looking for an IT Security Engineer. This role will be a major
contributor to the Information Security team, focusing on real-time
security alert analysis, security issue remediation and ensuring the
overall availability of our security infrastructure. The candidate must
be able to support for a wide range of security technologies including,
but not limited to: SIEM, IDS/IPS, malware analysis and protection, data
loss prevention and vulnerability scanners. The candidate must be
familiar with security incident response processes with a demonstrated
ability to write with clarity and accuracy. Excellent teamwork skills
are necessary.

Some of the responsibilities are:

• Fundamental understanding of
  risk-based information security management, as well as knowledge of
  applicable regulations, standards, and guidelines pertaining to
  information assurance (FIPS, NIST, ISO Standards)
• Ability to work with the development, integration, and infrastructure teams in implementing security controls
• Exercise discretion and maintain
  confidentiality related to privileged information (e.g., security,
  personnel, legal, or financial).
• Actively participate in security compliance efforts (e.g., HIPAA, Safe Harbor)
• Evaluate and recommend new and emerging security products and technologies.
• Researching industry security standards and best practices.
• Reviewing existing processes and security controls.
• Perform routine and ad hoc
  vulnerability scans, analyze results, document findings and track
  corrective actions or remediation strategy.
• Create scripts and utilities to automate vulnerability scans, analysis and other tasks.
• Adept at identifying/ interpreting
  cyber security attacks as they occur, including; spear phishing, drive
  by compromises, exploit kit exposure.
• Auditing user accounts and access.
• Monitor patch management ,ensure patches and upgrades remain within the acceptable versions.
• Assist with performing Security Audits.
• Assist in the implementation of any Info Sec related solution.
• Technically proficient with
  interpreting the output of security tools including IDS, SIEM, Antivirus
  tools, Mail Filters and Proxy Deliverables.
• Analyze, escalate, and assist in remediation of critical information security incidents.
• Perform data analysis, aggregation, event correlation and information security threat definition.
• Assist in the review, development, documentation, and communication of corporate security policies.
• Conduct activities to raise corporate awareness of cyber security policies, activities, and threat.
• Experience working in a healthcare related field beneficial.
• Experience working in a multi-national and multi-cultural environment beneficial.
