Purpose - To achieve the desired sales objectives in his/her defined DBS bank branch
Eligibility - Minimum 4-5 yrs of Sales experience in a life insurance company – sales, with specific focus to alternate channel business.
Main Priorities -
Sales Call Planning – Helping the Bank’s TRM in understanding the captive customer profile ( AQB/ NRV – demographic/ socio- economic segment) & prescribe product mix & leading sales pitch – on the job product expert.
Describe/ explain product differentiators to the bank’s TRM – clearly differentiate product USPs/ positioning in the mind of TRMs & Bank’s sales managers .
Assisting Bank TRM in identifying potential in their mapped book and assist TRMs on joint calls.
Activity planning and execution at the local branch level.
Building, maintaining a healthy, professional working relationship with Bank’s TRMs & other branch support functions to maximize Life Insurance mind-share against other third-party & retail Bank products.
Identify cross-sell opportunity within the bank – including but not limited to customer’s touch point with the bank, various customer segments – including corporate & institutional.
Being an Aviva Brand Ambassador – promptly update, debrief & train relevant bank staff on all new initiatives launch by Aviva for their bank partner’s & their customers.
Align the bank staff on standard operating procedures as defined by operations including but not limited to SLA, documentations, declarations & sourcing and reference coding.
To be well-versed with internal working & processes/ guideline of Aviva & help bank TRM/ customers to promptly execute all necessary requirements.
Key Skills
Excellent influencing, selling and relationship management skill
Skills in interpersonal communication, listening, problem solving and decision-making.
Thorough knowledge of Indian stock markets & various asset classes.
Should have good understanding of working environment of a retail bank & revenue allocation across all third party products.
