Informatica Developer

• Prepare functional and technical documentation for data warehouses
• Write new programs or modify existing programs to meet customer requirements, using ODI or OWB Tools(knowledge in other ETL tools and keen learning new tools is also preferred)
• Implement business rules via stored procedures, or through ETL tool
• Design and develop new reports and able to modify existing reports using QlikView (or knowledge on similar BI reporting tool)
• Provide Production-Support for a data warehouse environment and able to co-ordinate between different teams both onsite and offshore to meet the SLA
• Able to troubleshoot ETL issues both at a Data level and Functional level and provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Able to configure, create, manage and monitor jobs in Scheduling tool such as Tidal
• Analyze the performance of the Oracle jobs and able to suggest and implement performance enhancement techniques
• Ready to work in different shift timings as per the schedule
• Ready for onsite travel for short periods
• Review designs, codes, test plans, or documentation to ensure quality
• Verify the structure, accuracy, or quality of warehouse data
• Select methods, techniques, or criteria for data warehousing evaluative procedures
• Map data between source systems, data warehouses, and data marts
• Design and implement warehouse database structures
• Create supporting documentation, such as metadata and diagrams of entity relationships, business processes, and process flow
• Create plans, test files, and scripts for data warehouse testing, ranging from unit to integration testing
• Develop data warehouse process models, including sourcing, loading, transformation, and extraction
Required Skills Set
• Minimum 3 Years of ETL experience in with good hands on knowledge on ETL
• Tools - Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or Oracle Datawarehouse Builder (OWB) Informatica (or similar ETL tool)
• Minimum 1 Year of Reporting experience in QlikView (or similar tool)
• Good knowledge on Datawarehouseconcept
• Involved in at least 1 end-to-end Datawarehouse project cycle
• Experience/Knowledgeon 1 or more Scheduling tool like Tidal
• Experience in scrum methodology is an added advantage
