Job Description.
Qualification: BE - Mechanical from recognized university.
Experience: Min 4 Yrs and above in a LSI/MSI of Fine Chemicals, Specialty Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, API, Bulk Drugs, Dyes & Pigments, Chemicals Company. Electrical exposure preferred
Language: Very good command on English, Hindi & Marathi.
Expertise: SAP experience in must, ISO 9001-2008, 14001-2004 & OHSAS 18001-2007.
Skills: Technical & Management Skills, Computer proficiency, leadership qualities and handling people.

Job Description:
Maintenance & Utilities -
Ensure optimum availability of Plant equipment with process.
Planning & Implementation of preventive maintenance and calibration as per schedule -
· Preparation of yearly and monthly schedules in SAP.
· Co- ordination with Production for carrying out preventive maintenance.
· Carrying out the planned preventive maintenance and calibration activities.
· Identifying causes for any abnormalities observed during preventive maintenance and taking necessary corrective action.
· Ensuring external calibration is done as per schedule.
· Ensuring that pending/ re- scheduled activities are completed.
Ensuring Breakdown Maintenance with minimum down time -
· Ensuring availability of critical spares and maintenance consumables in Stores.
· Carrying out inspection of purchased maintenance items.
· Analysis of breakdown with corrective & preventive action.
· Monitoring of downtime and analysis of mean time between failures.
Ensuring Shutdown Maintenance Activates -
· Planning of shutdown maintenance.
· Plan Man, Machine & Spare for shutdown activities.
· Implement shutdown activities within stipulated time.
· Report any abnormalities observed & propose for action.
Ensuring the operation of utilities for provision of steam, electricity, cooling water, chilled water, compressed air, nitrogen and vacuum as per requirement -
· Monitor the consumption of consumables for the utilities.
· Monitor the consumption of fuel, electricity, diesel and water by the Unit.
· Update monthly utilities consumption trackers.
· Ensure AMC prepared with service provider.
· Bill checking, Service entry with approval as per company policy.
· Evaluate service provider performance & service if additional vendor required.
Ensuring the Statutory Requirements –
· Ensure Legal requirement as per IBR Act, Factory Act and Electricity Act.
· Co-ordinate for data or reports requirements as MPCB requirement to EHS
Ensuring the ISO 9001-2008, 14001-2004 & OHSAS 18001-2007 –
· Follow SOP laid for implementation of work.
· Necessary up gradation of SOP after approval from management.
· Identifies safety & environment hazards.
· Updates HIRA, Aspect & Impact register.
· Prepare action plan for new hazard.
· Prepare departmental investigation report for safety, environment & critical equipment.
· Implement plan of action for corrective & preventive in weekly manner.
· Monitor effectiveness above safety report.
Contract Management – (Civil, Electrical, Fabrication, Insulation work, Plumbing work, Carpentry
work etc.)
· Ensure PO prepared.
· Necessary permit released & followed.
· Measurement of work done by contractor.
· Bill checking & service entry in SAP.
· Ensure timely receipt of payment.
· Assessment of performance & rating of contractor.
Monitoring manpower utilization, control on Absenteeism & Overtime.
Ensuring that maintenance activities are carried out with all due safety precautions.
