CNC OPERATOR CUM PROGRAMMER

Job Purpose:

Programming and operation of cnc milling machine . To operate CNC machinery Writes code to automate power driven machines that cut and finish metal through milling machine.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Programming and operation of cnc milling machine seimens control 810 D.

* To program CNC machinery

* To operate CNC machines with Fanuc and Swedturn controls.

* To work to customer drawings and specifications with the minimum of supervision following training.

* To work to tight tolerances and check your own work

* To work on your own initiative and understand the manufacturing processes.

* Any other duties as required, commensurate with job position

* Able to work from blue prints and hold close tolerances

* Pro –e , creo, auto cad

* Must have superior computer programming skills.

* Must have excellent reading comprehension skills.

* Good active listening skills

* Must have good problem solving skills.

* Must have excellent time management skills

* Good math skills, especially algebra, trigonometry and physics.

Knowledge

* CNC Machine operating & Programming

* Knowledge of safety measures pertinent to each job assignment

* Knowledge of metal shop work.

* Must be highly detail oriented.

* Must have the ability to read blueprints.

Other

* Knowledge of electronics and machine tools.

* Experience with programming.
