ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
BD’s core roles and responsibilities would revolve around:
• Plan and implement marketing strategies that ensure a profitable sales for the company
• Collaborate with the regional and global companies in business development initiative.
• Increase visibility and market share of the company and its products cost-effectively.
• Source, negotiate and close sales opportunities and ensure that follow-up implementation is smooth, effective and efficient.
• Set targets, monitor and review business performance.
DESIRED PROFILE
• Any Bachelor degree (preferred Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, international business, marketing or related disciplines and/or a relevant Masters qualification would be an advantage)
• At least 1 year relevant experience in retail sales or channel sales
• Excellent proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Flexibility for travel within India
The Successful Applicant
To be successful you will be an excellent Business Development professional, with proven experience in selling into retail to channel markets. You will have an excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with high attention to detail. You must have demonstrated the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment and have strong presentation, problem solving, analytical skills & negotiation skills.
Other than above you possess;
• High level of commitment, professional and emotional maturity and sense of responsibility.
• A proven track record achieving and surpassing revenue targets
• Track record of consultative selling / business development across corporate industry
• Skilled at leveraging resources to facilitate relationship building
• Well-developed interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate well at all organizational levels
