Functional Area
Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
Translate business requirement document to software requirement specifications according to standard templates
Interact with the technical team to ensure that the requirements are understood correctly.
Conduct research and basic analysis of the industry the customer is in
Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements to deliver a complete and comprehensive Business Requirements Document
Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
Work independently with users to define concepts and under direction of project managers
Serve as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team through which requirements flow.
Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams.
We are looking for candidates with the following skill sets.
Should have 4 - 8 years of experience as Business Analyst.
Experience in engaging with customers for capturing business requirements for software development projects
Experience in documenting user requirements using various business analysis and modelling techniques
Experience in interacting with technical team and other project stakeholders
Experience in our Service Offerings preferably in Healthcare and Financial Services industries
Strong analytical and communication skills with a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
Excellent oral, written and client presentation skills
Proven ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
Experience in using tools and techniques that help in modelling Usage, Business Process, Data requirements
Exposure to different SDLC processes
Following skills would be considered as an advantage:
Web technologies
SQL, database design and analysis concepts
