Analyst 
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Business / Systems Analyst would be expected to have
the following key responsibilities covering across various business processes
within the Asset Management / Investment Management landscape.
Responsibilities

Candidates should be familiar
with documentation approaches like Use Cases, Flow-Chart/Swim lanes &
various graphical representations of time-sensitive processes. Candidates would
also be expected to prepare Data flow diagrams to document key data / business
entity flows. Production and consumption patterns of key data elements must be
understood.

Documentation of as-is processes.
This would entail working closely with Operations & Management to
understand the key tasks executed during the day, dependencies for
internal/external data, systems used and their availability, outputs produced
and understanding the need for these outputs.

 ;Rationalization. It is expected that the
Analyst community would be able to understand the nuances and variations in the
business processes across multiple groups and be in a position to recommend
standardization or best-practice across key user groups / client teams etc.
Exceptions should be understood and documented as well. In addition, the
analyst would be expected to identify opportunities for operational
efficiencies within the business processes.

Formulation of Strategic Road-Map
& Planning. It is expected that the Analysts would be able to communicate
trends, ideas and suggestions into the strategic road-map for Financial
Management. Analysts would be expected to be able to present options, and
assist in building a robust business case with the Financial, Operational, and
Risk-related & Technical implications of the solutions being proposed.
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in IT or Finance
related discipline, industry qualifications like CFA a plus
· ;  ;  ;  ; 
1+ or more years in Business
Analysis including problem solving skills with an Asset Manager or Investment
bank, with sound knowledge of the Investment Management vertical.
· ;  ;  ;  ; 
Expertise in documenting
requirements and business use cases
· ;  ;  ;  ; 
Ability to query and analyze
large volumes of data, infer co-relations and establish trends
Desired characteristics:

Strong analytical and problem
solving skills, with a keen attention to detail

Experienced in conducting Client
Interviews and extracting requirements and drafting them for sign-offs

Well versed in documentation -
Use Cases, BRD, FSD, SRS, GAP Analysis document

Knowledge of Context Diagrams,
Process Flow charts will be added advantage

Knowledge of SDLC (Software
Development Life Cycle) is required

Good in Application Testing,
should be able to work hand in hand with QA and Clients (for UAT)

Provide input to the development
of formal business cases

Analyze impacts of proposed
solutions on technology platforms
