Job brief

A qualified Accountant to handle, prepare, compute, manage, research and analyze all accounting data, in order to provide quantitative information on performance, financial position, solvency, liquidity and cash flows of our business.

Responsibilities

1.      Manage all accounting operations based on accounting principles

2.      Prepare budget and financial forecasts

3.      Publish financial statements in time

4.      Conduct month-end and year-end close process

5.      Collect, analyze and summarize account information

6.      Initiate and apply corrective actions to ensure data integrity and reliability

7.      Compute taxes and prepare tax returns, balance sheet, profit/loss statement etc.

8.      Develop periodic and ad-hoc reports for management

9.      Audit financial transactions and document accounting control procedures

10.  Keep information confidential and secure them with random database backups

11.  Keep up with financial policies, regulation and legislation

12.  Control invoice verification with agreement terms, contract or POs.

13.  Manage document control of supplier contracts, employment contracts, agreements, POs, timesheets before payments

14.  Maintain electronic documents database of all verified invoices, payments, bank statements, payroll & timesheets, cash bills, balance confirmations etc.

15.  Maintain Fixed Assets Register and apply appropriate depreciation calculations

 

 

 

Requirements

·         Proven working experience as a cost accountant or in a relevant field

·         Thorough knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English

·         Excellent accounting software user

·         Strong attention to detail and confidentiality

·         Excellent MS Office, especially MS Excel skills as an advanced user

·         Ability to schedule and manage the workload well and willing to work extra hours including weekend
