Introduction

Sledgehammer is a part of one of the oldest industrial groups of India, established in 1974 by a team of qualified engineers and has been involved in activities like steel castings, sheet metal, heavy engineering products etc. and they started manufacturing Cementing product in 2006.

SledgeHammer is one of the few API 10D , 5CT , API Q1, ISO 9001:2008, 14001 (EMS) & 18001 (OHSAS) certified manufacturer of cementing products.

SledgeHammer is the only company in India & Asia which has manufacturing facility for both Bow Spring Centralizer and Solid Body Centralizer and Float Equipment's as per API 10F.

Plant Details
Spread in area of 7 Acers land and fully equipped with CNC , VMC, Convetional Lathes, Drilling & Tapping , Power Presses, Hydraulic Presses, Robotic Welding, Fully automated phosphating and powder coating shop, SPM wedling, Mig Welding , Arc Welding, Automated heat treatment furnance, Pipe Band Saw , Rubber molding unit, Plastic modling unit and many more to produce all types and sizes for centralizer , cementing plugs, and float equipment.


Quality Check Procedure
The quality check starts from the purchase of raw material, material used are as per required specification, proper chemical composition and proper sizes.

Equipped with all latest software & other equipments for testing and quality control like “Centralizer Placement Software” & “Stand-off Calculation Software", with fully computerized Load Testing machine for starting, Running & Restoring force testing.

Fully equipped Material Testing Laboratory. Various Mechanical, Pneumatic & Hydraulically Driven machines for Fitting, assembly of centralizers.

We have our own design department and Tool Room.

All Equipments we provide are manufactured in-house. We can guarantee the Higher quality of our products at lower costs.


Testing Parameter
Computerized Load Testing Machine for starting ,running and restoring force test.
An API RP 10 F -Flow Loop Test Set Up for testing of float equipment for III C category for high pressure and high temperature bearing for float equipment.
Hydro- Pneumatic Testing Unit with work pressure upto 20000 psi.
In House Float Valve Spring Testing for float equipment
All kind of non destructive test (NDT) could be performed in house for ultra sonic, magnetic particles etc.
Complete testing cell for testing of bottom cementing plugs and top cementing plug .
Complete testing of rubber cementing plugs and other rubber items such temperature test, friction test, tensile rubber testing , Rheometer for chemical test, friction testing, specific gravity, melting point measurement.
SledgeHammer own software for bow spring and rigid centralizer. Also we work on centralizer placement software.
