They ones with out Sockets can be used with wrenches, The hex head can also be classified based on the torque drives phllips or torx, The type of drives depends on the applications. Hex Bolts can be defined or supplied under various Global standards such as ASME, SAE, ISO. Bolts are external threaded fasteners. Bolts are classified based on thread type, Head types and drive types.Hex Head bolts are more common in modern usage, The hex head can be fastened through a mechanical wrench or if the hexagonal head has a socket an allen key is used to drive the bolt. The socket hex head bolt can be fastened through power tools. Bolts can be made of various type of steels, brass and stainless steel depending on the application.
